What we do
The Palatine Township Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the charitable arm of Palatine Township – which serves individuals and families experiencing financial hardships. This support from the Township is provided through General and Emergency Assistance, the Food Pantry, and seasonal giving programs that support and empower residents. The overarching goal is to continually improve quality of life for those in need. Eligible recipients must live within the Palatine Township boundaries and be qualified through financial and non-financial circumstances.
Where do donations go?
Donations are 100% tax-deductible and assist residents with emergency payments for rent, utilities, prescriptions, and essential items that cannot be funded through Palatine Township’s General Assistance Department. Additionally, residents experiencing a range of crisis or life-changing circumstances can also be provided assistance through donations.
Whatever size donation you make, know that all funds go directly to serve Palatine Township neighbors in need, who are navigating through challenging times.
Palatine Township Foundation Board
The Foundation is guided by a seven member board that meets monthly. The Board’s mission is to fill any funding gaps for critical services and programs provided by Palatine Township. Through the generosity of local donors, contributions can be made through the Foundation to ensure that the evolving needs of Palatine Township community members in need, can be met.
